Hi, I'm Geeky Gadget Girl (also known as Claire).
I'm a very geeky girl who has always had a real passion for smart devices, particularly phones, tablets and computers. They're wonderfully useful tools - when they work! But as we all know, things can get quite tricky when systems are updated or there are strange errors popping up.
Whilst I truly believe they're great when improving our lives, keeping us in touch with our loved ones, I also believe they should never replace real life connections, family and friends.
So smart devices have their pros and cons and it's my job to show you the good side of your devices and help protect you from the bad side.

One of my favourite things to do is explain to people how clever their devices are and show them lots of tips and tricks that they never knew. I remember the first time I saw a computer at school when I was 6 or 7 years old and it may have been love at first sight because the teacher couldn't drag me away from it.
Years later when mobile phones came out they blew my mind - because they are miniature computers that you can hold in your hand and take everywhere with you. These days they are just as powerful as desktop computers.

I'll keep it really simple and I'll write down how to do the things that we've discussed, so that you have notes to refer to once I leave. Remember there are no silly questions - we all have to start somewhere and technology is advancing at such a rapid pace, even us professionals have to keep taking classes and watching tutorials, to keep up to date.
